From Kindergarten to College: Designing My Daughter's Dream Dorm Room (One Amazon Delivery at a Time)

There are moments in motherhood that sneak up on you.

One minute you're shopping for lunch boxes and backpacks for kindergarten, and the next you're ordering bedding, storage bins, and dorm essentials for your daughter who is about to start college.

As excited as I am for this next chapter, I'd be lying if I said I haven't gotten emotional while filling my Amazon cart.

I've always loved creating beautiful, functional spaces, whether it's my classroom, our home, or seasonal decorating. So naturally, I couldn't resist making my daughter's dorm room feel just as cozy and thoughtfully designed.

Our Dorm Room Style

We decided on a timeless blue-and-white look with a touch of Grandmillennial charm. Think:
